We believe that men must account for their actions. Our decisions yield consequences. Often, these consequences take years to play out. Sometimes, lifetimes. And for some, generations. Accountability means facing consequences for our actions, whether intended or not. It means recognizing there is no “quick fix.” Accountability is a process, under the bright lights of law and society. By following this process, men should find redemption.

Ex Post Facto

Retroactive legislation undermines the credibility of law, the goals of our Commonwealth, and hope for those seeking to account for their actions. Help our leaders craft thoughtful, effective legislation that changes our community by changing lives.

There Must Be A Redemptive Path.

Without hope, men give up. They revert to the patterns and perspectives that got them in trouble in the first place. Our burden is to define the redemptive path. We recognize that redemption, like consequence, manifests short-term and long-term simultaneously. A man’s decision to account is instantly redemptive, but the path he then walks is part of an unfolding redemption that must be reinforced by community,  society and the Law of the Land. We must ensure that the laws we establish reinforce, and never undermine, our goal of the redeemed, accountable man.
